Every year, 5,700 practitioners refer nearly 496,000 patients to CDC, and trust our expert radiologists and clinicians to perform more than a million tests. We’ve worked to build that trust every day since we opened the doors to our first clinic in 1993.
Since then, we have grown to become one of Alberta’s leading diagnostic imaging services, offering 17 locations province-wide and employing more than 500 expertly trained professionals.

One Day of Powerful Talks
January 29, 2022
08:00 am MST
The Advanced Fetal Imaging Conference (AFIC) is organized in association with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (Section of Maternal Fetal Medicine) at the University of Calgary. The long-term vision is that every woman has access to high quality obstetrics ultrasounds and that those providing sonography services are able to help improve women’s health outcomes by effective screening and diagnosis of fetal and obstetric conditions.
Join us for a full day of professional development and incorporate new skills to build on your knowledge. Our focus and topics will incorporate current practice guidelines for fetal anatomic screening, improving diagnostic skills for fetal anomalies and appreciate their implications for postnatal outcome. We will also outline the importance of maternal fetal medicine referral, develop an approach for fetal anomaly screening in the first trimester, create opportunities to support programs and protocols for improving the diagnosis of fetal anomalies, and challenge obstetrical imaging providers to elevate the quality of pregnancy ultrasounds throughout gestation.
